August 1 & 2, 2019 • Central Indiana (west side)
Unwind in beautiful Central Indiana for our best fundraising and networking event of the year!
Preliminary event information:
Day 1 — Thursday, August 1: Summer Tour
Most of the tour will take place in Marion, Hendricks, and Morgan counties of Indiana and will start around 8:00 am (EDT). We are still in the process of finalizing all the tour stops but here are a couple of key points to the day’s events:
- Lunch and a tour will be at the new Blue Grass Farms “Hobbs Yard” location. Blue Grass Farms and Ameriturf (who has a distribution office at the location) are co-hosting the lunch.
- Greendell Landscape Solutions, who’s celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, will be our host for the tour and the dinner after the tour.
- Post-dinner Auction: Due to the overwhelming success of the 2018 post-dinner auction that concentrated on more special, novelty items … it’s back for 2019!!
A complete list of tour stops will be available early July.
Day 2 — Friday, August 2: Shooting for Scholarships & Auction
INEF Shooting for Scholarships will take place at the Indiana Gun Club located in Fishers, Indiana. Preliminary plans are to start the Sporting Clays at 10:00 am (EDT). Enjoy our annual sporting clay shoot outing that benefits the INLA/INEF scholarship fund. Bring customers, employees, and friends. Prizes given to best individual and team. Lunch included with registration. LIVE AUCTION immediately following shoot.
The main purpose of the day’s event is the camaraderie, networking with other individuals, and first and foremost to raise monies for our scholarship fund. Thanks to the unanimous support of our members during our fundraisers, the INEF/INLA Scholarship award amount is now up to $6,000. Scholarship recipients who attend either Vincennes or Purdue University and seek a degree in horticulture or landscape horticulture, receive half the amount in their first year and the remaining half in their second year.
Complete event details —registration, sponsorships, hotel location, and other pertinent information — will be available in July.
