INLA Scholarships

INLA’s scholarship fund, the Indiana Nursery Endowment Fund, awards scholarships up to $10,000 each year to one or more full-time students enrolled in horticulture or landscape horticulture related classes at either Vincennes University or Purdue University.

Scholarship recipients receive half the award in their freshman year and the second half of the award their sophomore year providing they are still enrolled in horticulture or landscape horticulture related classes at either Vincennes University or Purdue University and have achieved a “C” grade average.

Scholarship winner(s) may receive a two year scholarship in two installments. One installment prior to the beginning of this Fall semester, and another prior to their 3rd semester, provided the following:

1) Continued enrollment in a Landscape Horticulture related major within the State of Indiana. Proof of continued enrollment and copy of the first year grade transcript required to be sent to the INEF Treasurer prior to second payment. (Please provide official class enrollment document(s) and grade transcript.)
2) Maintained a grade point average of “C” or above during first year.

The Indiana Nursery Endowment Fund awards scholarships on behalf of INLA to deserving students enrolled at the two Indiana landscape horticulture programs recognized by the INLA — Vincennes and Purdue Universities. In 2016 INEF voted to make donations to other vocational or career center educational programs focused on the landscape/horticulture field.
